A self-styled 'naked carpenter" has been jailed for two years for flashing in public.
Bearded Robert Jenner had paraded his manhood in front of shocked shop staff and day trippers at a park.
Dressed in a smart black suit, the former soldier had told a jury at Canterbury Crown Court that he was a "naturist" who was promoting his beliefs.
But witnesses told how they were shocked and distressed after being confronted by Jenner delivering parcels for Hermes.
And now a judge has told him that he was in reality “an exhibitionist who revels in upsetting people”.
Jenner, of Bingley Close has also been made subject to a Criminal Behaviour Order for seven years.
It will mean he must wear at least one level of clothing which hides his manhood.
Those you have approached, although not exclusively, were young women..." Judge James
Prior to his trial, he lost his bail after repeatedly failing to abide by restrictions not to wear see-through underwear in public.
But Judge Simon James heard how he breached that ruling the next day and was arrested and remained in custody for the past few months.
That concluded earlier this week when he was convicted on 11 charges of exposure.
Now the 44-year-old will have to sign the Sex Offenders' List for 10 years.
Judge James told him that he had “entrenched anti-social views” about naturism.
He said: “Over an extended period you have been deliberately exposing your genitals to unsuspecting members of the public.
“Those you have approached, although not exclusively, were young women who described their shock, upset and distress.
“These offences have been the culmination of a pattern of similar conduct and you have admitted that you have acted similarly on literally hundreds of other occasions.”
The judge said Jenner had deliberately targeted areas where he knew there would be children present during his 10 month campaign of flashing.
"It was his aim is that the deliberate exposure of his penis has nothing at all to do with naturism..." Daniel Stevenson
Jenner had delivered parcels for nationwide courier service Hermes wearing jeans with a hole cut out in the crotch.
Prosecutor Daniel Stevenson said Jenner sometimes wore see-through tights or shorts at a supermarket, shopping centre and near a children’s play area.
He said: "He claims to be a naturist and has stood trial in the past and found not guilty of similar offences, which relate to him acting as a naked and claiming the right to be naked in public.
"The prosecution say it was his aim is that the deliberate exposure of his penis has nothing at all to do with naturism and the only explanation is that he was acting in a deliberately provocative manner... with the full intention of causing as much alarm and distress as possible."
Jenner remained passive throughout the sentencing hearing.
