Parcel delivery firm City Link has announced it is to close its two depots in Kent.
The sites in Aylesford and Ashford will close between Monday and Thursday next week, administrators revealed today.
It means another 11 people will lose their jobs across the county, bringing the total number of redundancies to 71 since the firm fell into administration on Christmas Day.
The move for the site in Bellingham Way, Aylesford, means a further seven staff will be made redundant, on top of the 41 employees who discovered they were being made redundant on New Year's Eve.
The Ashford branch is also set to close with a further four people losing their jobs, while one back office member of staff will remain on site.
The company announced the moves as part of the closure of a total of 51 depots across the country on January 15.
Joint administrator for City Link Limited, Hunter Kelly, said: "It is with regret that we announce further redundancies at City Link Limited, which will take effect over the coming days as the company's remaining UK depot operations close.
"Having returned a large volume of parcels to City Link Limited's customers and recipients over recent days, it is no longer viable to continue operating these depots and a phased plan to close them has begun."
Affected staff have been informed, he said, with administrators planning to give written confirmation and offer guidance for redundancy payments.
The company's announcement earlier this week prompted Aylesford MP Tracey Crouch and Ashford MP Damian Green to release a joint statement expressing their shock at the timing of the closure.
