Pedestrian, 90, dies following crash in Larkfield

A pedestrian has died in an accident that involved a white Fiat Ducato van and a silver BMW car.

The man, aged 90, was walking with the aid of sticks when he was caught up in the accident in New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, between Papyrus Way and Bellingham Way at around 8.40pm yesterday, Wednesday.

He was confirmed dead at the scene.

Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

The victim has not yet been named.
