A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.

Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were called to Bellingham Way, Aylesford, around 4.50pm today.

The female, whose age is unknown, was taken to a local hospital by road ambulance.

The extent of her injuries is not yet known.
