Police called to Borough Green Co-op in Station Approach after cash stolen

Police are on the hunt for burglars who broke in and stole cash from a supermarket.

Officers were called to the Borough Green Co-op in Station Approach after alarms were activated.

The burglary is thought to have happened at around 1.30am on Tuesday (January 30).

It is reported the suspects forced entry and stole a quantity of cash.

Two police cars were spotted outside the Co-op, with the entrance taped across. The shop was closed to customers for the rest of the day.

Detectives are appealing to anyone with information, or who may have seen anything suspicious, to call 01622 604100, quoting 46/16137/24.

Drivers with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also urged to check for any relevant footage.
