Police are investigating after a car was torched in woods this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to land near Coldharbour Lane traveller site, near Aylesford, at around 1pm.

A four-wheel drive vehicle, believed to be a Mitsubishi Shogun, was described as well alight, with one fire engine remaining at the scene for around 40 minutes.
