Two-car crash in East Peckham

A village road was blocked after an accident.

A car crashed into a parked van in Old Road, East Peckham, close to the junction with Snoll Hatch Road, near the Pound Fish Bar.

This van was parked in Old Road when it was hit

Police and a fire engine attended.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 4.54pm today to assist in making safe an accident scene in Old Road, East Peckham.

“One fire engine attended and was able to leave 25 minutes later.”

Kent Police said: “We were called at 4.40pm following reports that a car had collided with a parked van in Old Road, East Peckham.

“No injuries were reported.”

Traffic information provider Inrix said just before 8pm that the road had cleared.
