Police dog tracks down two men accused of burgling Travis Perkins Builders' Merchants in Forstal Road, Aylesford

Two men have been arrested after a police sniffer dog tracked them down following a burglary at builders’ merchant on Tuesday.

A number of tools and generators were reported stolen from Travis Perkins, in Forstal Road, Aylesford, at around 9.50pm.

Officers attended and found two men in an area off Lock Lane thanks to the police dog.

Two 22-year-old men, one from Rochester and the other Chatham, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.

They have been bailed until Monday, July 13.
