A fire which ripped through a stable in Wrotham last night, destroying half of the building, is being treated as suspicious.

Two engines raced to the scene at farm land, off Whitehill, at 7.42pm and spent just under an hour bringing the blaze under control.

There were no reported injuries to livestock and crews eventually left at around 9.30pm.

Firefighters tackled the blaze. Stock image.

Kent Police were informed the fire was suspicious and officers will attend the scene today to investigate.
