Man being hunted by police after alleged racial abuse hurled at staff in Tesco in Larkfield

A man who allegedly racially abused shop staff is being hunted by police.

Three people entered Tesco in Lunsford Park, Larkfield, and were challenged by staff who believed one of them was attempting to steal from the shop.

As the group was leaving the store, the suspect is alleged to have caused criminal damage to a light and then shouted racial abuse at two of the store's employees including security guards.

Officers have now issued the CCTV image of a man who they believe can assist their inquiries.

The incident is said to have happened on February 8.
