Police are investigating reports that a 'stolen' car was left overturned early today.

Officers discovered the vehicle on its roof in Tower View, Kings Hill, shortly after 12.15am but were unable to find the driver.

A short time later, the car's owner called police to report it stolen from Queen Street in Kings Hill.

A police spokesman said its investigation is ongoing.
