Motorists faced delays on the London-bound M20 this morning after a car broke down in the middle of roadworks.
Traffic was queuing for six miles after the breakdown between junction four for Leybourne and junction three for the M26.
The vehicle broke down at around 6am.
One lane was blocked and traffic was backed up to junction six.
The lane was reopened at 6.50am.
A 50mph speed limit remains in place as Highways England continues work on the smart motorway scheme.
