Services suspended as person hit by train

A person has been hit by a train at Penshurst Railway Station.
Services were suspended between Redhill and Tonbridge following the incident, which was reported at 4.20pm on Tuesday, April 3.
An air ambulance and paramedics on the ground attended where the person was found to have relatively minor injuries to their lower arm and upper body.
They were treated at the scene before being taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
Southern Railway set up a replacement bus service for the customers affected.
The line later reopened at around 7.30pm.
