Two lanes were closed on the coastbound M20 after a collision.

A van crashed into the central reservation between junction 3 for Borough Green and junction 4 for Leybourne and the A228 just after 3pm.

Knock-on delays have been reported after a second incident in the area on the eastbound M26 approaching the M20.

Police and paramedics attended the scene, and a man was treated for minor injuries on the M20 accident earlier this afternoon.

The carriageway was closed while the van was cleared, but reopened around 4pm.

However, there are still lengthy delays in the area following a second accident, this time on the M26 just before 5pm.

Highways England says one has been closed between junction 2a and junction 3 on the eastbound carriageway.
