Tempers ignited by 'parking grievances' may be behind a spate of heavily scratched cars in a quiet West Malling cul-de-sac.
An Audi, Subaru and a Saab parked overnight in Nevill Court on Sunday (November 13) were deeply scored by someone using an object, possibly a key.
Police believe the criminal damage to be linked to a previous instance in September on the same road, when five vehicles were scratched.
Sergeant Jo Mott of Tonbridge and Malling’s community safety unit said: “We are continuing to investigate these incidents and it is possible that they may be related to grievances someone has with parking issues in the area.
“We are also working with our partners to review where CCTV cameras are placed in the local vicinity. Whist we are continuing to make enquiries it is also important that anyone who may have information comes forward.”
Anyone with information should call Kent Police on 01622 604100. If you can help but wish to remain anonymous contact Kent Crimestoppers, on 0800 555111.
