A woman has been taken to hospital after a car overturned on the M20.

Police were called at around 8.30am to the accident on the coastbound carriageway between Junctions 2 for Wrotham and 3 for the Addington Interchange.

Officers and paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service attended.

The driver was treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital. Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Two lanes were closed while recovery was arranged.
