Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash that left a motorcyclist in a serious condition.

The crash, between a car and a motorcyclist, happened yesterday evening around 5.20pm.

A blue Lexus was travelling along the A20 London Road towards West Malling when it collided with a motorcyclist near the junction with the A228 Ashton Way.

Police, paramedics, and fire were all called, as well as the air ambulance.

The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries, and after being treated at the scene, was taken to Kings College Hospital, London, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
