A man has been arrested after armed police attended an address in Beech Road, East Malling.

Officers were responding to calls that a man had a weapon inside a home in the street.

A 38-year-old man was arrested and two air weapons were seized.

The suspect remains in custody while police investigate possible firearms and criminal damage offences.

The incident happened just after 5pm yesterday afternoon.
