A Maidstone man has been arrested in connection with a robbery at a busy petrol station earlier this week.
Joshua Thomas, of Tarragon Road, was arrested on February 18, the day after two men made off with large quantities of cash and cigarettes from the Parkfoot garage in West Malling.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, the men entered the London Road petrol station and acted aggressively toward two members of staff working overnight.
Thomas, 24, has been charged with robbery, two offences of theft and driving a motor vehicle without a license or insurance.
He has been remanded into custody to appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on February 20.
