A man has been charged after a suspected stolen car was spotted driving on the A20 London Road.

Officers stopped and arrested a man on Thursday, August 30 as he was driving towards Larkfield.

Viktor Obuchov, 34, of Clarissa Road, Romford in Essex was later charged with aggravated vehicle taking, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

The charges relate to the reported theft of a BMW from the Aylesford area shortly after midnight on that day.

Mr Obuchov was bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on October 9.
