A Snodland vandal will have his wrench confiscated and destroyed after he smashed up a car and failed to surrender to police.
Charlie Palmer, of Pollyfield Close, Snodland, caused £263 damage to the vehicle's windscreen in Maidstone Road, Rochester, in August, before failing to turn up to court last Monday.
The 21-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence on Wednesday at Medway Magistrates’ Court.
Magistrates ordered Palmer to surrender the wrench used during the incident, which will be destroyed.
He will also have to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and pay £300 in compensation and £85 in court costs.
