A Snodland couple have denied savagely attacking a woman after she was found collapsed in a car park.

Greg and Maria Toole, both 32, of Amisse Drive and Saltings Road respectively, are accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent after Dorothy Mockford suffered fractures to her spine and a broken breast bone in the late-night attack in Holborough Road in February.

A second woman was also hurt.

Both defendants pleaded not guilty at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court and have been bailed unconditionally to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, September 19.
