Drivers were earlier warned to expect delays after two cars collided on the M20.
Congestion was back to Junction 7 for Detling Hill at 4pm, as a result of a collision between Junction 5 for Aylesford and Junction 4 for Leybourne.
The accident happened on the London-bound carriageway.
