Drivers are being hit by long delays after a crash involving a car and van on the M20 coastbound.

A rolling roadblock was introduced between J4 (Snodland) and J5 (Aylesford), while the vehicles were dragged onto the hard shoulder for recovery.

This has now been lifted and traffic is now moving again.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles near to Junction 5 on the M20.

"The incident was reported at 12.24pm on Saturday 28 January 2017. Officers are at the scene along with The South East Coast Ambulance Service."

It is not yet known if anyone was injured.
