A crash is causing rush-hour delays on the M20.

The accident, which involved a car and a lorry, happened at 4pm in the coast-bound carriageway of the motorway between junction 3 for the M26 and junction 4 for Leybourne.

One lane was blocked and traffic further hampered by a traffic light failure at Leybourne.

Drivers are advised to approach the area with caution.

It is expected to have cleared by 8pm.

Police and paramedics were called but no serious injuries were reported.
