Police are investigating after a blaze at a shed and caravan in Snodland.

Firefighters found them both well alight when they arrived at the scene at Hays Road at 4.20am this morning.

The fire was put out using a hose reel jet by 4.53am, but crews referred the matter to police as they suspected the cause was suspicious.

A police spokesman said: “We were called to a report of a shed and a caravan alight at 4.44am and inquiries are ongoing.”
