Fire crews at blazing barn in Wateringbury

A barn blaze is now over after three fire engines were called to the scene.

Last night villagers near Tonbridge Road, Wateringbury, were warned to shut doors and windows because of the smoke drifting across the area.

Firefighters were tackling the blaze with hose-reel jets and using breathing apparatus.

The call came in just after 8pm on Sunday, April 30.

There were no reports of any injuries and no detail yet as to how the blaze started.
