Firefighters have put out a kitchen blaze which is believed to have started accidentally.

Crews were called at 8.06pm to a home in Alex Hughes Close, Snodland today.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used high-pressure hoses to tackle the flames, before clearing the smoke and fumes from the property with a specialist ventilation fan.

No injuries were reported.
