Kings Hill has won a regional floral award at the first time of asking.

The estate entered this year’s South and South East In Bloom competition and achieved a silver gilt award.

It entered the village/ town centre category and judges visited the area in July.

Blue Peter gardener Chris Collins presented the awards at Brighton’s Amex Stadium last month.

Project ecologist Susan Deakin advised the site’s developer Liberty Property Trust and the site is maintained by Coblands Landscapes.

Susan Davies of Liberty Property Trust, developer of Kings Hill, said: “As this was the first time we had entered we are thrilled with the result.”
