A man has been arrested after a police chase.

The suspect was spotted in the Kings Hill area and stopped in Beaufighter Road at 4.40pm yesterday after a short pursuit.

He stopped the car and a squad car was then used to block him from driving off.

Robert Donovan, 42, of Aldon Lane in Addington was subsequently arrested and has been charged with criminal damage to property, dangerous driving, using a vehicle without third party insurance and driving without a licence.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court today.
