More than 400 homes and businesses were without power this afternoon after an outage.
Homes in the Snodland and the village of Birling were without power since about 4.30pm.
It was thought an overhead cable fault was to blame and engineers from UK Power Networks were sent to fix the problem.
It is understood 405 properties were without power including some in Ryarsh and Leybourne Chase.
According to the UK Power Networks website, engineers were initially expected to have the power back on between 6pm and 7pm.
A statement read: "We're often able to re-route power remotely so you may be back on sooner, or your power may go on and off."
While they were able to get several homes back on quickly, many were still without power late into the evening.
An update at 3.44am on Sunday said power had been restored to all but one property.
