Nightclub owner Guy Pelly is set to become one of six godparents to Prince Louis today.
An old friend of Prince William and Prince Harry, the 36-year-old will be attending the christening in London among friends and family of the Duke and Duchess of Cambrige.
Formerly of East Malling, Mr Pelly is thought to have asked the princes to be ushers at his wedding to Holiday Inn heiress Lizzy Wilson in 2014.
The following year, Prince William missed the Royal Family's traditional Christmas lunch to attend the memorial service of Mr Pelly's father John, who owned two Toyota-Subaru garages in Kent.
Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, will be performing the christening at the Chapel Royal in St James' Palace
Joining Mr Pelly as Prince Louis' godparents will be Nicholas van Cutsem, Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, The Lady Laura Meade, Sophie Carter and Lucy Middleton.
The Queen and Prince Phillip will not be attending the event, as Her Majesty is travelling back from Norfolk today.
Prince Phillip, 97, retired from royal duties last year.
