kmfm has announced the winner of its latest competition sending a lucky listener on a seven-day holiday to Barbados.

Wendy Nash from Tonbridge called it a “dream come true” when she was phoned by breakfast hosts Garry and Chelsea to be given the good news.

She entered the contest after hearing it on the radio at work, in her car.

Wendy said: “I heard it and thought, I must enter it after my next drop-off."

Entries were made on the kmfm website and people would need to answer the following questions correctly: Where is the Hilton Barbados Resort located In Barbados?" Saint James or Bridgetown.

Wendy had never won a competition before and had not told her husband Nigel before entering but now both will enjoy a couple’s retreat to the Caribbean.

Garry and Chelsea have been presenting the kmfm Breakfast show live from the Hilton Barbados Resort all week, giving listeners a flavour of the holiday experience.
