A parish council has resorted to using large rocks to stop traveller incursions.
West Malling Parish Council says it is looking for more permament solutions after placing two large rocks in its village hall car park last Wednesday.
The hall on Norman Road suffered a week-long incursion in May and it is hoped the rocks will work as a temporary obstacle.
A spokesperson from the council said: "They are just a short term measure in the hope that they're not going to be able to move them.
"We are awaiting quotes for additional security measures."
