Traffic on M20 as broken down vehicle in Smart Motorway roadworks shuts lane between Wrotham and Leybourne

Traffic is queuing on the M20 following a breakdown.

One lane is blocked heading London-bound in the Smart Motorway roadworks between Junction 4 for Leybourne and Junction 2 for Wrotham.

Traffic is queuing as far back as between Junction 5 for Aylesford and Junction 6 for Maidstone.

Motorists should consider using other routes.

Highways England expects delays to clear by around 8.15am.
