Two lanes were blocked on a motorway after a crash involving a car and a lorry.

The accident caused long delays on the M20 coastbound between the M26 and junction 4 for Leybourne and Snodland.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was notified at around 4pm about a collision involving a car and a lorry on the coastbound carriageway of the M20 between junctions 4 and 3."

It left a street light dangerously unstable and the entire coastbound carriageway had to be temporarily closed while it was removed.
