Train passengers are facing delays after a lorry hit a railway bridge.

The vehicle struck the bridge near Borough Green, blocking the line between the town and West Malling.

Trains cannot run over the bridge until it is checked by response staff, who are en route.

Services between Otford and Ashford are being diverted to run via Sevenoaks to avoid the blocked line, meaning they will stop additionally at Paddock Wood, where passengers can get a train to Maidstone West.
