A suspected thief is to appear in court charged with nine offences including the theft of £500 of energy drinks.

Billy Quinsey, of Bramley Road, Snodland, was charged on Friday (October 20) with eight counts of shoplifting.

The charges come after food and laundry products were reported stolen from a supermarket in the town between July 22 and October 16.

Quinsey, 26, was also charged with theft after cash and sunglasses were reported stolen from a car in Oxford Street during the evening of September 19.

He was released on bail and will appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 20.
