Man dies after digger tipped over in Ladds Lane, Snodland

A man who was airlifted to hospital with “serious injuries” after a digger tipped over has died.

Emergency services were called to reports of a person injured in a field in Ladds Lane, Snodland on September 2.

Officers attended and the man was taken by medical crews to a London hospital/

It has since been confirmed by police he later died from his injuries.

A spokeswoman for the force said: “Enquiries into the incident are ongoing in partnership with the Health and Safety Executive with a view to providing a report for the coroner.”

Police, ambulance and fire crews were all sent to the scene at around 4pm as part of a massive emergency response.

At the time, drivers were temporarily prevented from using the rural route following the incident.
