Police say they are not treating the death of a man found with catastrophic injuries in Aylesford as suspicious.
Derek Gane had been walking to his local cafe for breakfast on the morning of August 14 when he suffered severe injuries including broken bones in mysterious circumstances.
He was discovered by a passerby next to the footbridge that crosses the M20 from Teapot Lane to Aylesford Railway Station shortly before 10.40am.
Officers appealed for anyone who saw the 69-year-old that morning to come forward as they tried to piece together what had happened to him.
Mr Gane's long-term partner Anita, who he married just a year before his death, paid tribute to her "wonderful" husband.
Today, a police spokesman said they had now spoken to members of the public with information, and confirmed no foul play was suspected.
No details were given about how Mr Gane is thought to have suffered the injuries. A report will be compiled for the coroner and an inquest will take place.
