Footballers will hold a minute's silence to show respect for a fellow player who died while competing in a triathlon at the weekend.
Paul Gallihawk, 34, was competing in the Ocean Lake Triathlon at Leybourne Lakes on Saturday when he disappeared.
His body was found on Bank Holiday Monday.
Mr Gallihawk set up football club Whitehawks FC two years ago and ran it up until his death.
Now members of the league the team played in - the Maidstone and Mid Kent Sunday Football League - have announced they will hold a minute's silence before every match this coming weekend in his honour.
League chairman David Boughton said: "The Maidstone and Mid Kent Sunday Football League are shocked and saddened by the terrible news, that Paul Gallihawk, one of their own, lost his life over the Bank Holiday weekend.
He was incredibly passionate about his team and football, - league chairman David Boughton
"Two years ago, Paul had set up and continued to run his own football club, Whitehawks FC, who are members of the league. He was incredibly passionate about his team and football, and only last season Whitehawks FC completed a remarkable League and Cup Double.
"As a mark of respect , all fixtures this coming weekend will have a minute’s silence to remember Paul. He will be sadly missed.
"All fixtures involving Whitehawks FC are postponed until further notice."
A Just Giving page set up by Mr Gallihawk as he trained for the triathlon has raised more than £14,000 for King's College Hospital since his death, smashing his £300 target.
His family paid tribute to him, describing him as a brilliant son and brother who would do anything to help anyone.
