An accident involving a van and three cars has blocked two lanes of a motorway and left one person injured.

Lanes one and two of the Londonbound carriageway on the M20 between Junction 4 for Leybourne and Snodland and Junction 2 for Wrotham and Brands Hatch have been blocked by the crash.

Traffic is now queueing following the incident which was reported at around 9.15am.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: Kent Police received a report of a collision involving a van and three cars at 8.54am.

"Officers are attending the scene on the Londonbound side of the carriageway of the M20 between Junction 2 and 3.

"One person has reported a minor injury. All vehicles have been moved to the side of the road and all lanes are open."
