Hundreds of homes were left without electricity by a power cut this morning.
The outage was affecting more than 350 homes in West Malling, Kings Hill, Snodland, and surrounding areas.
It is understood the issue was with a high voltage overhead electricity line. The power cut was first reported shortly before 10am and was affecting six postcode areas.
A statement on the UK Power Networks website said: "At this point we think the issue is faulty electrical equipment on the overhead network affecting 354 properties.
"Specialist engineers from our control room are also working to divert power remotely, so it's possible for your power to come back on at any point, but sometimes we can't restore everyone this way.
"That's why we're also sending staff to the area to check our equipment."
Some homes saw several short power cuts over a period of time.
It was estimated power would be fully restored between 11.30am and 12.30pm. By 12.15pm, just three customers were affected but that was likely to continue until 2.30pm-3.30pm.
