Homes in part of Kent are without power this morning.
There were about 80 homes off in eight postcodes in and around Hildenborough, Ightham and Ash first thing but at about 7.50am that number had dropped to 33.
UK Power Networks said it became aware of the problem at 6.23am and sent engineers to investigate.
The firm said: "We were investigating a high voltage overhead electricity line fault which caused a power cut in the local area."
An update at 7.48am said: "We've remotely diverted electricity around the faulty part of the network, restoring power to 48 properties. This leaves 33 properties affected by the overhead network fault."
At just after 8am, specialist engineers had arrived on site and were investigating the fault.
Customers were advised they may find their power going on and off, which was normal for this type of issue and due to engineers working to divert power remotely.
The firm said: "By doing this, we've managed to restore power to 26 more customers. There are now seven properties still affected."
They had hoped to have all customers back on by 10am but all power was restored by 11.12am.
