Animal lovers have put out a desperate plea for a dog who has been looking for a new home for more than two years.
Five-year-old Wuzzle, a Staffordshire bull terrier, has been with the RSPCA in Leybourne since March 2013, after being found severely emaciated, with overgrown claws and a pelvic infection.
Jacque Kaye, kennel supervisor, said: "Wuzzle had such a difficult past, which makes it all the more sad that he is still struggling to find a permanent home.
"It is hard to know exactly why he has been so unlucky, but it could be that there are just too many staffies. With so much choice it is often the younger, more distinctive ones that go first.
"It is such a shame, he is an absolute pleasure – a real softy who just loves his cuddles."
He has been in a foster home for some time so is used to home life.
His previous owner was banned from keeping animals for life.
