Residents of Borough Green are being warned about a rogue trader operating in the area.

Kent County Council's Trading Standards has received reports of a man offering driveway work in Lingfield Road on Tuesday.

The man is about 5ft 8in, with short dark hair, in his late 40’s, has a thick Irish accent and was wearing a yellow fluorescent vest with no top underneath.

The man quickly left one home after the resident told him that CCTV was in operation.

He was last seen knocking on doors in Lingfield Road and Ascot Close.

Trading Standards advises residents to say no to uninvited callers and to report incidents like this at kent.gov.uk/tradingstandards
