Police have issued a warning after Borough Green and Aylesford residents were sent mobile phones they did not order as part of a suspected scam.
After the items have been delivered residents have been called by men on a withheld number claiming the parcels were sent by mistake and instructing them to be returned.
Men have then turned up at front doors demanding the phones to be handed over.
Only this week homes were targeted in Ascot close, Borough Green and Recreation Avenue, Aylesford.
It appears the suspected scammers have tracked the orders and are seeking to obtain the phones for free.
Sgt Mark Ginsberg said: "It appears phones are being ordered, possibly fraudulently, from legitimate companies and are being sent to people with no knowledge of them.
"Within a very short time of taking delivery the recipients are being phoned repeatedly from a withheld number and having people knock to at their doors.
If you notice anything suspicious or have any concerns about a parcel you have not ordered call Police on 101. Residents are also advised to call the company which delivered the parcel to arrange a legitimate return.
