The Holmesdale School in Snodland is getting ready to celebrate its 90th anniversary.
The school will be nine decades old on May 19 next year, though it has undergone several name changes during that time.
It started life as Snodland Central School.
In 1961 it was re-christened Holmesdale Secondary Modern School.
It 1965 it became just Holmesdale Secondary School.
In the early 2000s, it changed again to Holmesdale Technology College and is currently plain-speaking Holmesdale School.
Today's head of school Glenn Prebble wants to hear from anyone who attended the school over the years - as student or staff - and who has a tale to tell or a photo to share.
Perhaps you were one of the 280 evacuees from London who arrived during the war when Mr Plowright was headmaster?
Perhaps you attended the school in the 1960s and 70s when an extensive programme of modernisation was undertaken when JB Midgley was the new headmaster?
Perhaps you attended the school's Golden Anniversary celebrations in 1980?
Or were a member of the Young Farmers' Club in the 1990s?
Do you have a story of an influential teacher or member of staff who inspired you on to your future career path?
Anyone with memories they wish to share should email the school at office@holmesdale.kent.sch.uk
