A man was seriously injured after falling off his bike in a Kent village.

Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were called to Roughetts Road at around 11am.

The man suffered head injuries and was taken to Tunbridge Wells hospital at Pembury.

Police confirmed there was no suggestion anyone else was involved in the incident.
