A teenage girl has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car outside Aylesford railway station.

The collision happened at 2.15pm yesterday.

Police and ambulance were called to Station Road and the girl was taken to hospital for treatment.

A police spokesman said today her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
